Valentina Casali is an italian graphic designer and a co-founder of type-based studio Sunday
Büro, in which she works with her partner, Marco Goran Romano. She attended Scuola
Internazionale di Comics, and while getting her education there, she also participated in
numerous workshops concerning poster design, bookbinding and self-publishing. She’s been
doing calligraphy since 2012, to which, she says, she’s most dedicated to. Through hand crafted
lettering and fonts, Valentina combines pop culture and humour with orderliness and
functionality of calligraphy as an independent way of artistic expression.
