Degrau is a Portuguese design studio which consists of four members: João Castro, Ana
Areias, Tiago Campeã and Raquel Rei. Being founded under the name The Royal Studio,
Degrau has gained its following thanks to their comprehensive but intriguing visual language
that is almost always inspired by conversation. Its creative directors João and Ana are always
searching for a quality collaboration with other artists and scientists, which brought them to work
with important clients such as Adobe and Facebook, but also landing themselves a collaboration
with a record label Ninja Tunes. Studio Degrau doesn’t make a difference between commercial
work and personal projects and these four designers always make sure to create surreal,
playful, creative narratives in their work.
